How did you rate your characters on the strong to weak?

I would rank Cole Mathews strong because I mean like he just doesn't care what people think.I mean he has been in jail several times and have robe a place and have beat up many of kids.He is living by him self in a forest I mean tell me he isnt strong.He eats live rats and bugs he sound like a monster if you ask mean and he attacks bears.But he did get almost eaten alive but he went to the hospital and it was all good.

Well mostly the all the kids agree with me.Be side one kid thought he was in the middle because he is in the forest by him self and he is about to die.But we convince him a little because he went to the hospital and he is all good.He kind still thinks he is in the middle but it is okay because we all have our oppions.I think Cole might move during the scale.That is how I rank my charcater thanks for reading my blog post.

What i would say to the the main character i would say that he really needs to get much better and step it up  and not get in trouble anymore because right know he is at the island and is trying to get it together but i feel that it is not getting that far  in the camp because he needs to get better. at all of his life lessons and so he should just keep being good for now and he should just keep working harder and harder.
He should just stop and keep himself together and he just needs to stop and think a little more about him and not by trying to hurt the bear  he should just leave it alone and not bother it but he should  just stop and say to him self because that way he could leave soon so then that way he can stop and not get in trouble. but so far he has gone from strong to strong and so then that way he will be better and he just needs to not do anything at all.  because he will be like really good but i now see a better change in hm now because he has all of his friends there and so he is starting to realize that he will change because he  needs to and so that is why i think it is a good thing that the to kids where there to help.

What would I say to the main character?

If you had the chance to talk to your main character right now, what would you say to them? Why would you say it? SCHOOL APPROPRIATE 2 PARAGRAPHS.
      I would say to Cole that he needs to be strong. I know things are hard right now but they will get better. Just because your dad is mean to you does not mean you have to be mean to everyone else. And I know sometimes you just have to let all that anger out, but that does not mean to a person or animal.
       So yes things do get better. And just talk to your mom about it and just stay away from your dad. Try to calm down a bit and apologize to the people you have hurt. Good luck with everything and I hope it goes well. Bye.

I put my character somewhere in the middle because he strong physically but not emotionally. My other group members said Cole was flat out strong because he is wounded severely and he has a ton of mosquito bites and is eating live bugs.

I would say that is pretty impressive just to have the guts to eat  a live bug but he was pretty hungry. So I would agree on most things they think. So to conclude I think we are all in the same boat.

Hi i'm going to talk about my author today and he has wrote some very good books. He has a book that i am reading now and it is really good and it is called touching spirit bear. He has wrote ghost of spirit bear and i would like to read that one.  This has been very good to read all of his books he gets really into the thought and that is what i like. All the time the author makes very good impressions of every character and it makes you want to be in the book. Most of the time the author is very good and i  like to read the book all the time its really good but sometimes i feel like it could be more than what he has.

The author ......   Ben Mikaelsen  wrote the book touching spirit bear . Ben Mikaelsen has wrote the ghost of spirit bear a book that continues  off of touching spirit bear.  And also a book called Sparrow Hawk Red is about a boy who's mom was murdered when he thought it was accidental but found out she was killed by a group of drug dealers.

What would you say to your main character right now?

If I had a chance to talk to my main character right now.I will probably say right now wow you got attacked by that bear I mean he demolished you.I will probably say like why did you attacked the bear in the first  reason.Why did you picked to go to this thing I mean you have a chance of dying like what you almost did.One more thing I will just talk about like what he ben threw and the rough stuff in his life.

I would say that because I would like to know why he attacked the bear I mean like he almost died.Like he has his skin torned up and he broke his arm.I would liked to know why he went to this thing because they said warning you have a chance of dying.That is what questions I would asked Cole Mathews and why.Thanks for readind my blog post.

What I Would Say to Cole

          If i had the chance to talk to cole right now i would ask him why he makes bad decisions. I would ask him if he likes it on that island all by himself with nothing but nature. I would ask him why he consisted to do bad things over and over again after he was told he wasn't going to get away with it next time.

          I would ask him these questions because i'm curious. Because it make no sense to me that he is making all of these poor life choices. Because he continued again and again. Because what he did was wrong. Because i need to know. Sure he has a rough life but violence and law breaking should not be his automatic response to it.

         

                   

About the Author

     Ben Mikaelsen is the author of Touching Spirit Bear and many more. Ben has been writing since the year 1984.  He owned a male American black bear named Buffy for 26 years. Ben has written a total of about 9 books. His two most popular books are Touching Spirit Bear and Petey.  I think he wrote Touching Spirit Bear because he is trying to teach an important lesson throughout the book. And he is showing that one person can like change because of one scenario they are in.

To start off I would tell Cole to take a chill pill and  don't be a jerk about everyone and everything. Also I would tell him this whole thing wasn't his fault. For example Cole's childhood was not good at all because his parents treated him like dirt. So this triggers Cole to be so angry.

       Why do you think that they wrote this book?
I think that they did a great job on the Touching Spirit Bear book and it is a great book.

The Author of my book is Ben Mikaelsen and he has written Touching Spirit Bear, Petey, Ghost of Spirit Bear, Jungle of Bones, and Tree Girl. I think the reason why he wrote this book is for his love of bears and and his anger problems in the past as a kid. And he has a pet bear named buffy.

The struggle with Cole Matthews

Cole Matthews struggles in the conflict of Man vs himself . Events that haves moved Cole's conflict further was  that  he was stealing maybe not getting that love from his parents that he needs . He also has a bad temper , but likes stealing, fighting and doesn't like jail.  He's also had to choose jail for the rest of his life or banishment . Cole Matthews isn't one of the greatest kids and he takes his anger out on the wrong people for the wrong things . i think the character will solve his conflict but he has to get rid of his anger issue problems.

the four problems

i feel that it is man vs his self and so he is trying to face all of the feers that he has that is going on and so he has been in lots of trouble so it is hard for him but he his going up against his self. So he is really getting in trouble so he had to go to this island and so that is why he has been struggling with himself.   So that is why he has been not doing good at all and so he is and i feel that he is getting really mad and bad with his self and his friends are even getting away from him and so he has been getting in to fights and steeling so i feel that this camp should help him out a lot and so that is why he should just stop.

The Main Conflict

        Cole is struggling with himself basically because of his bad temper and him being a criminal. He is on an island by himself to find himself and become good, but he still has a bad temper. Cole stills has a bad temper and all he has is a aw.ool, or blanket/towel, and a fire, which is his shelter that burnt down. I think he will solve the conflict, but he might hurt himself along the way or anything. This story is MAN v.s. SELF because he is fighting against himself to keep himself alive while he is still on the island and he has to control his anger.

Main character Conflict

I think Cole Matthews Conflict is Man Vs Himself because he always make bad decisions and he always struggle with himself  and makes bad decisions. Cole Matthews is struggling with himself because he always make bad decisions i mean he have been in jail more many of times.The events that  complicated Cole         Mathews is he has been is trouble for many of times form fight store robing a store.He have been in jail also  for many of times He has a hate relationship with his parents.
I think Cole Mathews will solve the conflict with out more harm.Because he is going to this thing called circle of life and he will be with nobody beside him self and the wild.I think it will help him calm down and deal with nature and survive.He dosent have to deal nobody for sure so he will sure not get in fights and have family problems.That is what I think Cole Mathews Conflict is.

          Cole Matthews is struggling with a few things in our book. the biggest problem in the story is Cole himself. he is making all these bad decisions where he ends up getting in even worse situations. you could say it is man vs man, man vs nature, man vs society, or you could say its man vs himself which is the case.
          Cole is in a situation where all of those apply but the main one is man vs himself. he is the one making the decisions which wound him up in all the wrong places. he chose to rob and vandalize that store. he chose to beat peter up for telling on him. he did all of that and if he wouldn't have he wouldn't be where he is today.

Cole Matthews has a lot of problems. most of the problems occur with his own actions. so I think this conflict is man vs himself because he is choosing his own actions when it comes to his problems.

    

Also I think that its also man vs society because In  the justice circle he is not working well with anyone there when he is supposed to be cooperating. 

The hurt, then the heal.

A young boy named peter got beat up by Cole who is really angry at him. So Peter is going through a man vs. man moment. Cole is going to a island to go through a man vs. nature. Cole hate everyone in the town he used to live in. Cole is mad and trying to get the island. Cole will see a spirit bear and that him a lot.. Cole should learned what he has learn on the island after a whole year and apologize to Peter and his mom and dad.

Cole is struggling with society, Himself, and Nature. He has been in and out of jail, so he struggles with society. Hes struggling with nature trying to survive on his own and got attacked by some animals. He struggles with himself.

The Main Character

            Cole Matthews is one of those kids who always likes to get into some sort of trouble.  He kind of has a temper when people ask him sorts of questions. He doesn't mean to have a temper, it's just the way his parents are to him, so that's why he is so mean and gets into trouble all of the time. Cole bullies other kids on purpose. When he does this is because someone made him mad or they told on him for something he has done. A lot of the kids are afraid of him, no kid would even want to pick a fight with him because he is so mean. So really I have learned that he likes to be mean to people and he has a habit of having a bad temper. I kind of like my character. Yes he is mean and everything, but he can change. It's really not so much his fault he is mean either.

Cole is the main character and he is getting in to a lot of trouble and so he has to go to this island instead of going to jail. The reason that the character Cole is really mad and has been like i i'm dead . they have to get all of his information and so he is like he is being really mad and being a jerk and he has to go to south Alaska and that is where he has to go instead of going to jail in Minneapolis. I don't feel like he is making the right choices and he has like lost all of his friends because he is making all of these poor chooses. his family is even just to the point where he does not even care that much and that is like wow why would he do that. his mom even said that she went to see him and does not even know what to do at this point she said to Cole her son. So at this point his parents are very mad and don't even know what to do.

Impressions of my maincharacter

The actions of Cole Matthews are not the best as I come to see in  this book so far. Cole Matthews actions are despising and bad . Some of Cole's habits are things as stealing , getting in fights , stuff kids the age of Cole shouldn't be doing . Some of Cole's dislikes are that he don't like people that are not afraid of him , but he likes the people that are afraid of  him . I dislike the main character. Why I say this is because I know that I would never do the things that Cole does now. The things he does can be bad experiences for people who are younger or older that him.

Are Main character

You can tell that Cole Mathews is one of those kids who dosent  care and dosent go by the rules.Because he has ben in Juvy several times.He has cause atone of fights at school and he as just en a nonstop trouble maker.You can tell his habit is he just cant get out of trouble.I mean like the only thing he dose is cause trouble.

For now I dislike Cloe Mathews because first he is a trouble maker he just like to start fights steal stuff and do stuff that is wrong.He has a mean attitude like when cops talk to him.When they  try to help him he just dosent care and say so what and dosent pay attention to them.I think I will like him later because he is trying to fix him self.That is our main character and that is what I think about him

MA1N Character of the book

Cole's actions tell us that he is sometimes a little short tempered so that tells me he's a jerk and he lives in a juvenile delinquent jail.  

I learned that Cole likes to get mad about anything and doesn't like to get questioned. Also he did not like to touch any one, not even hug his parents. Cole tries to make people feel bad.  I really don't like him because he is a big jerk and is probably annoying.

the impression of my main character

          The main character in touching spirit bear is Cole Mathews. Cole does not make very good decisions in life. From what i know so far Cole is not a very good person. Cole is a 15 year old juvenile.
          Cole Mathews likes to to vandalize other peoples property just for the the fun of it. Cole really dislikes the people who tell on him for doing things he shouldn't do. the people that tell on Cole for doing bad things are called snitches in the book. Cole has a habit of beating the snitches up after school.
          From what i know so far i think i am going to like Cole because he kind of reminds me of myself. i don't consider myself a juvenile or somebody who vandalizes things and i especially don't consider myself as somebody who would beat a person up if they told on me for doing something bad. to be honest i don't know why he reminds me of myself just know i will like this book and i like the main character.
